I started testing my sister's hypothesis and she's right.

So I used to work as a waiter, bartender and did some construction work...So I have a soft spot for those in those fields, because I've been there.

When I got here to Merida, I knew about the complaints from the locals about how they are taken advantage of by the Whites and Mestizos and paid very little for hard labor and aren't appreciated.

I'm not rich, but I'm not that guy either, so when ever anyone worked at my places I would make sure they had cold drinks and lunch, plus I always pay well.

I figure a taken care of worker is a happy worker.

Not these motherfuckers...They instead didn't know how to feel since no one treats them with respect and some actually used the "Tu" form instead of the "Usted" form of the language which is rude unless we know each other.

So I said fuck it...No more extras, no offering drinks in the hot weather and just paying the exact amount.

And now they act better.

What the fuck is wrong with people?

I wasn't doing it in a rude, condesending way...Nor showing off.

But they have that anger instilled in them due to the past that now they see friendliness as weakness...So fuck it.

We can all stay in our lane.

Sometimes like that assburgery Scott Adams says "If someone doesn't like you for your skin color, then fucking stay away from them."

I don't need them...They need me or better said they need my money and they will take a knee or have no work.
