Shou Sugi Ban: The Art of Japanese Wood Burning

So I recently called the owner of my rental house and asked if he wanted to sell me his prep table.

He declined saying it was a family hariloom, so I started looking and found a place that sells them unfinished for very little.

Sooooooooooooooo going to buy like 10...Bought a large torch yesterday and going to buy a propane tank today.

Will burn, clean, stain and maybe add some talaveras to the edges.

Here's what the stain wood looks like.

I need a hobby and I think I could actually make a buck or two when fnished, even jsut for fun.
