So I had told my girl not to get me much for XMAS because I don't really need anything...Only thing I wanted was slippers.

She of course did not listen : /

But I have to admit, that even though I was mad, I did appreciate the gift..

I'm trying to downsize...I kid you not I have got rid of 70% of my stuff.

I want to knock off another 50% off that in these next few months.

I want to be like Mary Kondo, who only keeps things that make her happy, that have utility and that have asthetics.

Everything she does has a purpose and a calming effect from chaos...Simple but beautiful.

Anyways, my girl got me these handmade chef knives...They're so ugly that they're beautiful.  

I will never get another set and I will put these on a metalic board...They're not just knives, they're art.
