So been prepping forever, since the early 1990's...No not for Y2K that shit only worried idiots.

But even in great financial times, I looked to get out of the Rat Race and build "SOMETHING" special outside what I consider Modern Society.

I always wanted a nice stone cottage by a river or stream to fish...But obviously things got weird in the US and as a whole it be crazy expensive with the salaries, materials, shipping and permits in the US.

Soooooooo Noodles looked in Central/North America, Europe and finally decided in an area with cheap labor, land prices, materials and most importantly?

WATER...There's entire rivers underneath my feet in the form of giant underground cenote water systems.

Bought a small parcel of land and started building with 12 workers since mid January...I now have a STONE wall that will be about 3 meters high on my property and finishing my warehouse.

(The wall in the pic is 2 meters at this point and goes around the ENTIRE property which is about the size of half a football field)

The goal is?

Stone Villa, Large Warehouse, Stone Walls...Stone Turret Entrance, huge doors/gates...Multiple water wells, crop fields, fruit trees and chickens/geese coops and BEES.

Sounds wacky.

Sounds unrealistic.

Sounds non-plausable.

But I'm going strong.

I'm very proud of what's been done so far, but so much is left to build...But I'm pushing to finish, because I do think Something Wicked Comes This Way.

What I'm making is NOT an IMITATION of a Villa...It is a real life Old School Villa.

In fact, they are using the SAME Masonary Building Techniques that they used 400-500 years ago...Even those metal towers you see made for support are HAND MADE by my abañiles.

I'm literally building something that will last generations even if I'm gone...Everything is stone or rebarb fortified mortar (Just like the Romans).

I think the Old Ways are the best ways and I'm not just Talking the Talk...I'm Walking the Walk.

I hope everyone who see's what's coming starts to prepare even in the smallest of ways.

2. Small garden
3. Bug Out Bag
4. Cash on hand
5. 1st Aid Kit

Etc.

So if any of you ever drive at night by what appears to be an out of place Stone French Villa in Yucatan and you hear Depeche Mode playing in the star lit darkness...It might be Noodles.
