Back in Cali for a Few Weeks
Flight and everything worked out so well even if it started rough.
So today we're going to a party in a little while, so we just went to a Food For Less to get some chips, drinks etc to not show up empty handed.
Some prices were a little more than I remember...Tortillas that were $2.99 are now $3.49...Not too bad at all.
Other things like red meat, seafood, good chips, fruits, cheeses and veggies were off...In fact, a can of hormell Chili that used to be like $0.89 before biden got in is now $2.89...THAT'S NOTICABLE.
I fast and eat, semi-clean in Yucatan so I hadn't felt it too bad...But Americans don't like to cook so much as they did generations before.
Lot's of processed, manufactured food and if you have kids and you want quick and easy then that shit hurts because you're having to double your food budget and the bad times haven't really started yet.
I'm telling you to start gardening, simple shit, tomatoes, potatoes, store some rice, grown some squash or corn etc, get some chickens, tlapia in a barrel etc.
Shit is getting weird on the coast, but on the other hand Cali doesn't produce anything of high calories, it's grapes, letuce, celery, almonds etc...But no real food like chickens, hogs, cattle, eggs, dairies etc.
They are phasing the out all farms, planations, orcahrds, ranches in California...Where do they think food is grown or raised?
Do they think they can Computer Code a steak and eggs etc?
That wheat and corn just magically grow?
Cali is sooooooooooooo fucked.
i think maybe by next year, these high prices will seem like a bargin for some.
That is some scary shit.
