I Was Watching A Show
In it there was an active shooter at a resturant and everyone froze.
Dude walked around with a 357 Magnum just shooting people slowly as everyone just waited to be shot.
My blood pressure jumped by 30 as I was aching to stab the dude...But no one did anything.
Throw a sugar container, a plate, a chair anything.
So dude just killed like 4 people and stabbed one when his bullets ran out...Then the stabbed lady slit this throat and I literally shivered with delight.
I mean I could downplay it or pretend I didn't and I know it was just a show, but it LITERALLY soothed me.
I HATE whenever there's an incident everyone who could have done something, but didn't.
I know I've been conditioned differently due to my old career, I know I've done terrible violent things and see the world differently, but nethertheless...Sometimes action is needed.
I honestly do miss getting into scuffles at work...SOMETIMES.
It's a peak of emotions as your body prepares to do something and you just waiting for the opening.
Dude grabs something? Dude takes a fighting stance? Dude tries to throw a punch or a kick, spit etc?
Then it was Green Light.
In those few seconds, most fights ended in less than 20 seconds it was an eternity.
Blood rushes to your ears and you literally HEAR it gushing...Your forehead gets hot...You sweat under your nose and your mouth gets dry.
Every movement seems in slow motion...Sometimes I would have to tell myself what to do in the fight.
Like if I was controlling an Alexa Robot.
"Alexa spray his face with OC...Alexa grab his left arm at the wrist...Alexa twist it and trip him to the ground...Alexa handcuff him."
Everything seemed so slow...Later on while looking at the video I would see that it escalted so quick...You blinked and it was over.
But it shows that deep down we Humans are still primal and if need be we revert to our old ways and in that second in time we are animals.
