Why Are So Many Mental Illnesses Negative?
If mental illness is just a false sense of reality...IE:
1. You're paraoid because someone is watching you.
2. You're sad because you feel you're going to die, deserve to die or you want to die.
3. You're homicidal because you have a deep hate of everyone for abslutely no reason.
4. You're scared because the Shadow Men come at night and probe your ass...Repeatedly...While gently caressing your face and whispering sweet nothings...Errrrm or so I heard!
Etc etc etc.
Why is Madness just BAD THINGS?
Why are so few Insane People just not wildly happy?
Why are the perceptions or reality always negative?
Why are there not more Willie Wonka's?
Tank Girls?
Deadpools?
Or even Marla Singer Types?
Not talking the bi-polar ones that are happy one minute and raging maniacs the next...Just insane perpetually happy people?
Nothing says mental illness HAS TO BE a bad thing.
Imagine seeing evrything in a positive way?
Accepting everything in a Stoic way and living in the moment no matter how bad it is?
Was thinking about it as I was talking to my girlie...You don't know her! She's from Canada! We met at Summer Camp! I swear! No you can't talk to her!
No anyways, we were talking about living IN THE MOMENT because that's how I've been for a quick minute...World is collapsing, but I'm going to enjoy this cheeseburger, sitting with my dog Lola and watching cartoons or whatever it is I'm doing.
When I'm doing what I like, I'm not thinking about anything sad or bad...Things slip off me like water off a duck's back...For that brief second in time the only thing that matter is whatever is in front of me.
So if perception is the path to happiness why can't there be madness where you're just happy?
Just wondering that's all.
