There's certain things that I love and want...Not for the cost or for bragging, but just because I love how they feel and look.

Like some old rustic tool that no one ever uses anymore, but brings you joy to use.

For me this has turned into a quest for my favorite things in the kitchen.

Here is my heavy wood prep table...Almost everything there is handmade and HEAVY...My knives especially.

Although I won't deny it...That meat mallet (Which is machine made) is my FAVORITE...Leaves the meat so tender!

So weird people rather chew a million times then just whack the meat with a mallet.
