Had to make yet ANOTHER reservation to travel since between the Mexican Government, the Secretary of State of California and the Feds they can't make a simple adjustment to an error on my birth certificate.

Literally it's moving a missplaced middle name to a last name.

Just moving it over a section.

It is going on a year in September, it has involved multiple government agencies and several trips to the Mexican Consulate, the County Recorder of San Diego, the Secretary of State of California and 2 other agencies.

Finally it looks like I have a chance at fixing it which will make it easy in another country to immigrate or get a SS number or Federal Votng ID Card etc.

Weird huh?

In Mexico you cannot get ANY services if you can't prove you're legal.

No driver's license, no allowing you to vote, work, start a business or buy property easily...No welfare, section 8, WIC, Medical/Medicare etc.

No papers? = You get nothing.

I actually have ZERO issue wiith that...That's the way it should be in the US and suddenly no more illegals.

People are only coming because we feed, cloth, medicate, shelter, educate you no matter what like idiots.

Above EVERYTHING the citizen should be taken care of first.

First in line for any benefits should be the Citizen.

So I'm not even mad at Mexico...Anyways, need a hotel for about a week to get things done and got a place for about $75 a night...Nothing fancy or wild...Just nice.

So wondered to myself "Why not get a place on the US side instead if there's not too much difference?"

Looked up a hotel from the same company in Chula Vista which is in no way shape or form a fancy part of San Diego.

$350 for a basic Hilton that looked like a step above a Comfort Inn...A Nite...Only good thng about it it's next to the Trolley since I'll be flying there.

It better come with an Asian Hooker massage.

If it was a fancy place I'd be "Well it is very nice and understandable."

But we're talking one of those beige places with bed covers which look like they were purchased in the 90's and they toss is a breakfast of tiny boxed cereal and bananas and possibly some Costo Muffins.

Who is paying that much for so little?

Chula Vista isn't exactly Paris, Rome or NYC.
