I've been applying to several jobs recently. My prefered job had called me in for an interview and right before they called me I had a really nice dream that I was working there and I lived right across the street so all I had to do was walk over.  In real life, after the interview I wasn't sure they were going to hire me so I applied to be a cashier at a truckstop near my house.  Right before I started to work the Truckstop I had a horrible nightmare that the place was about to explode from a volcano pouring lava everywhere. I tried to tell everyone to leave but they wouldn't listen to me. So in real life I started working there right after that dream and it was the worst job ever.  I ended up quitting after a day. They begged me to stay but I told them I just couldn't handle it (it reminded me of working in Los Angeles again, which was soul crushing).  That day I got a call from the original place I wanted to work at and I accepted the job there. I started working there today and it was so much less stressful and everyone was really nice.  I think our dreams can tell us a lot about reality.
