Now I live in Yucatan now...No bullshit and when I first got here there were about 1.2 million people here.

Well several idiots blew up the place by putting it on the Top 10 Places to retire and the population has exploded...I figure we're closing on 1.4 now.

Full of happy Canadians, grumpy Americans and even GRUMPIER Europeans.

Which means less resources for more people...Now Yucatan has a HUGE natrual underwater system, but if you don't have a well with an electric pump, THEN you end up depending on some 1960's water system and you're fucked.

When I talk about someday CLEAN water being a comodity, luxury or coveted, I'm telling you it's getting here SOON.

No not Climate Change.

Terrible systems, wasteful projects, overbuilding and under preparing.

But it's just easier for the fucks to pretend otherwise.

Anyways, I'm putting up TWO more wells HOPEFULLY one artician well...You know like in the fairy tales with the rope and bucket...Like that.

It's the Double Sword here...There is plenty of water in Yucatan BUT ONLY if you can pull it out from 12-18 meters of rock.

There's been whispers since several MAJOR cities are going dry...But I stand by that future wars between nations/cities/counties and states will be for access to clean water.

A few months back I had none for 7 days and that shit was bad.

How do you wash?

Clean?

Do laundry or dishes?

Cook?

Water your place?

Flush the toilet???

That's when I decided to go all out on wells.

I do wonder how bad it will get before people snap?

HUMOUNGUS Cities world wide are drying up at incredible rates, MOST Western People have never really been that fucked.

They've felt brown outs, dry spells or a storm knocking out your power...But water is undeniably the one thing you can't go long without.

I do worry about that TBH...Do most people?

Nope.

Might I be overPrepping with 3 wells?  Probably.

But I rather have and not need,then need and not have.
