At a store with my girl around 2 pm...Here a "BAM!" on the streets...Look out and a car just broadsided a motorcycle, man's boots, helmet and bike are scattered all over the road.

I start running, there's a crowd of about 10 around him just watching the bleeding man on the ground, at least 5 have their phones out while the others are just staring like idiots.

Get there, another guy, lady and I stabilized his neck, got him some water, put something under the leg, being I'm almost sure his femur was snapped, just his body was in shock and he wasn't feeling it yet.

His left upper leg was swelling at a crazy rate.

Talked to him and dude was concussed, had blood dripping fom his head, was able to have someone call his wife.

Paramedics took 10 minutes...Jesus.

Imagine getting hit so hard that your femur snapped, your head ringing from the concussion, other bones probably broken.

Turned when I heard female crying as the car driver was sobbing, my girl was comforting her.

It was fucked up all around...But what got me was that with the crowd of 20-30 that ended up gawking only 3 went to help the man and all three were non-natives.

I saw the same thing in the US...Dudes just watching and not reacting...But here in Mexico I was EMBARASSED and even ashamed, because easily almost all the natives could be in the same position being most ride motorcycles or bikes.

Now I'm seriously afraid to ride my bike after seeing that.

Good luck to that man and his family...I hope it heals.
