I'm conservative and when people on the Left do stupid shit I make fun of them...Because supposedly people on the Right are supposed to be hardier, better prepared and more self-sufficient.

Sometimes when shit happens my people are dumb asses too and I don't feel bad for them either.

Pain is a teacher...Learn from it.

I say this as someone who has made sooooooooooooooooooo many mistakes.

Except my love of younger white women who are kooky and a lil bit wild...BUT I KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT...I don't lie to myself.

ANYWAYS, my sis owns a house up in the mountains in San Benardino on the way to Arrowhead and Big Bear.

That county is terribly ran by the Dems, but the people in that enclave are Conservatives.

They recently got fucked with massive snow storms and within 3-5 days had ran out of fuel, food, meds etc.

They are on day 7 and there's a panic as most are down to nothing.

These are NOT poor people as a whole...The area is actually quite rich with some locals who make meth or don't work living there due to it having been really cheap in the 90's.

Think Richies living among some bar, bikers types.

Now if this was a crazy storms like in the NorthEast or upper Midwest etc I'd feel bad for them more...But most of the country goes through a LOT worse EVERY FUCKING YEAR.

But people prep...Fuel, charcoal, wood, beans, rice, flour, oil, powdered milk, powdered eggs, canned foods, bottled food, TP, hygiene etc etc.

Literally with $500 you could be stocked to survive months on decent food if needed...With a $1000 you could be stocked for years.

Seriously.

I myself just bought 72 40 ounce Mason Jars and will soon make a bunch of beef and chicken stew that should last me 10-15 years without refridgeration...JUST IN CASE.

I dislike the weakness of the Left, but that has to be applied evenly.

I am disspaointed in my own...Like I said I UNDERSTAND if you are poor, but many of us piss away good money on stupid shit then are left in a lurch when the wolf comes a knocking at the door.
