NOTE: The picture is of the cottage I would build RATHER than rent at those prices.

"The advertisement for the apartment in Dublin circulated online this week among stunned housing-seekers. According to a screenshot, the one-bedroom, one-bathroom residence was available starting September 12.

For €2,500 (about $2,500 USD) monthly rent, a real estate agent promised the "complete apartment" available "Thursday to Monday weekly only."

That's $155 Euros per night for a tiny 1/1 Apartment, but only for 4 nights out of the week.

The reason why?

"On August 1, there were just 716 homes available to rent across a country of 5.1 million people, according to a report from Irish property."

Man I'd have already started a small stone cottage, like in the picture...If you have the basic skills you can build a small 600 square foot one WITH NO PLUMBING OR ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS in about 3 months.

Very rustic and rudimentary, if you have skills you can figure how to make an outhouse and get electrical power later.

Most material will be CHEAP as it involves rocks and mortar...If friends help each other they can make these and get out of the noose of crazy rents.
