Went to Costco since my girl needed a computer for her work at home.

There was a deal on an Apple Big Screen Desk Top...We saw it for $1499. 

We get to the register and I notice they charged $1749.

I mentioned it to the cashier....She thought we probably were confusing it with another computer so we went and checked.

Employee that had helped us was taking the prices off and putting up new prices.

New price was $1749.

He saw us and told us nervously EVEN BEFORE I SAID ANYTHING:

"I talked to xxxxxx and she said that we'll honor the original price."

I HADN'T SAID ANYTHING.

Meaning...Soon as we left the computer section, they had switched the prices and if I hadn't caught it they would have fucked us with the higher price.

Went back and they refunded $279 off the total.

Still miffed at my girl because that computer had actually been $1299 dollars a few weeks ago and Costco no longer does extended waranty when you use their card.

All the benfits are disappearing and the prices are going up.

When Costco tries doing some shady shit you know it's getting bad.
