I didn't even realize today was Thanksgiving till right now.
I'm very thankful personally for this year, but I have seen many friends and family get all fucked up.
I was honestly thinking about why I don't have as many issues (Besides my obvious antisemitism 😘).
It all comes down to 3 basic things.
I have limited amount of close friends and family...If any are toxic or just constantly problamatic?
I cut them off with a quickness.
We all have that person who is always in debt, kids are wildly bad, sick/hurt, constantly dating assholes or fucking up BUT THEY NEVER CHANGE THEIR WAYS.
They don't cut their spending, try to discipline their kids, stop dating dudes everyone knows are garbage, they complain about weight or illness but refuse to diet or exercise etc.
Fuck em...Cut them off... They're Emotional Leeches, a complete waste of time.
Secondly, I appreciate my health and have learned not to postpone shit that's needed...NEVER BE CHEAP WITH YOUR HEALTH.
Being sick or hurt only makes things worse and that avalanches into other problems.
So take care of YOURSELF before your husband or kids, because if YOU GO DOWN...IT ALL GOES DOWN.
Everyone will STILL expect you to handle everything and you usually won't get back the support you put out.
SO REMEMBER:
YOU FIRST...Then everyone else.
Sounds selfish, but it's NOT.
Because let's just admit most of society has become selfish and many times if you play the martyr, then work and your family will suck you dry no matter how fucked up you are and you'll be here whining about:
"Why doesn't anyone help me when I need help???"
Cus you're a dumb ass.
Thirdly, I've realize there's literally mentally ill people with an unrealistic POV in all faucets of life and in power.
Don't give in...Push back... Reason people do shit to others is because they never face any consequences for their bullshit.
Push back, don't be a doormat.
You have the life you allow, take risks, think outside the box and even if you fail TODAY...You might hit the 🎯 TOMORROW.
Makes some changes in your life where you think you're lacking...Write them down and a few ideas for solutions and try to fix shit before it overwhelms you.
Doesn't have to be huge changes, just small stuff like ALWAYS have a clean kitchen and sink.
Once that's set pick another weakness and work on that.
1 small change a month will change your life by month 6.
Give up pork, seed oil, high fructose syrup, eat only 2 meals, go for a walk in the morn or evening, meditate, make salads with every meal, cut on smoking, drinking etc etc.
Small changes can make huge differences.
If you don't like your life CHANGE IT.
