"I just quit my job and feel great!" Stories.

Annnnnnnnnnd I think they're not real as much as wishful thinking...For some they found a job right away and they supposedly loved the new one, but honestly something told me they were going to run into issues again.

They had a "Wimp" Vibe.

Now I can't say too much because I quit or retired from my job/career...But I had some sort of Safety Net to fall back on...Most of these people don't.

The stories all read very sad...People who move from a small town to somewhere where they have no family or friends and just work somewhere they hate till they quit or get fired.

I understand getting fired or quitting forces you to act...But honestly I'd be spooked unless I had backing/savings or some sort of family support.

Shit isn't getting easier and I've been reading a LOT about the "Great Resignation" and it just sounds like unhappy people breaking down.

The extra surpluses and unemployment is pretty much gone...I know people who did it but all that happened was they got fat and lazy and NOW?

Honestly can't work anywhere...They want to quit at the drop of a hat.

A lot seemed that they had got used to working from home and refuse to readapt that we have an open society.

In no way shape or form am I saying stay somewhere where you're disrespected or misstreated...All I'm saying is any job sucks after awhile...There is no perfect job.

If you're going to quit, just make sure you have something saved or have already downsized, so when it happens you float rather than sink.

I see a lot of great bravado is my main point...Like "Yeah totally glad I got fired...Fuck that place!"

Sometimes you just have to plan your escape not be thrusted on to it.

I also know that all that talk about all these jobs being avaiable seem suspect...No one just has an interview...Most places do online videos/quizes/placement tests followed by an interview if they don't already have someone for it.

I'm thinking many places are just saying they can't find employees to be able to milk the sweat from their current employees.

THAT'S what I think is causing all this dissatisfaction...Lot's of this type of bullshit:

"Oh I wish I could get someone to help you with that job Noodles...But there's no applicants...You'll just have to man up and do it by yourself or with a smaller team."

"Janet is going on vacation and there's no one else Noodles, you'll have to cover her work too...I wish I had more applicants to help you out."
