Fork in the Road

So a couple of years before I moved down to Mexico, I was wondering what I wanted to do.

My dream at the time wasn't to build something, it was to get a Toyota Pickup with a camper and travel with my Dog.

I don't know how well that would have gone with all the drug addicted robbers and thieves, but I assume it would have involved a few women, a few drinks at some dive bars and a few regrets.

Who knows?

It wasn't the road I took, but from time to time I think about it and wonder where I would be.

Happy?

Sad?

With whores?

With no whores?

Robbed?

Dead?

Arrested for killing whoever was trying to rob me?

People forget how quickly life changes with the smallest of turns.

I guess it stays with me because I miss huge Open Skies where you can see the stars clearly at night.

Here's what Joshua Tree National Forrest looks like... It's amazing!

Sitting somewhere with a fire, cooking outside with my Fat Dog, Depeche Mode playing in the background, while staring at the night sky.

That sounds beautiful.
