So I had a GREAT partner before I retired.

This crazy Vietnamese partner that was down for the cause.

He was a Big Boy even though he was Vietnamese at 240lbs+, so we made a great team...He would naturally follow my lead and was quick with his heavy hands when it got spooky with inmates.

But his female options were slim since he was fat and Asian...Let's keep it real, only Asian Women tend to date Asian Men...It's just that way in Northern Cali, I don't make the rules.

Anyways, he ended up dating some obnoxious Asian girl who he went heads over heels for, they quickly got married and he now has a very cute little boy.

All is good, but that bitch is going to kill my friend.

She's a Spender...Multiple vacations a year, large cars, big house yadda yadda yadda.

So my partner works and works and works to pay for all the toys.

Often he gets home to clean, take care of his boy and cook...After doing 16 hour shifts and only having 8 hours in between his next watch.

Meaning often he sleeps 4 hours a day, he eats whatever he can, because he's always on the go.

Monster Drinks, Junk Food and tons of coffee in the mornings.

My partner at 45 is a heart attack waiting to happen.

She is literally driving him into the ground, not caring about his health because she wants to go here or there, not trying to cook or clean to help with the load etc.

Tried talking to him once about not putting up with that bullshit, but he's under the belief that a man has to totally destroy himself for his family to prove he's a Good Husband/Provider/Father.

Years ago, I had mention that AVERAGE life expectancy for C.Os NATIONWIDE was 58.

We give up about 16-20 years in Life Expectancy to have those paychecks.

I seriously don't think he'll see 55...But I can't say anything because HE KNOWS...But he just doesn't want to tell his wife "NO."

When he passes, that fat bitch is going to get the houses, cars and tons in insurance money for her and her new BF.

If a woman doesn't appreciate you while you slave for the family, then I doubt she'll be a Mourning Widow for long.

Saw a pic of him and he looks OLD AND TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRED...But we all choose our paths.

What I learned from being in a few long term relationships is:

DON'T BE A MARTYR FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT APPRECIATE OR RECIPROCATE WHAT YOU DO FOR THEM.

I wish he would take care of himself, but after so many years living like he does, he probably won't till the damage is done or he gets a stroke etc.

He literally looks like this Teddy Bear...Not exaggerating. 

I wish he'd snap out of it...But again...Everything is in HIS power and HE has to make the changes...If not then it'll be what it'll be.

I'm 100% sure we all know an aunt, sister, brother, friend, cousin who does too much for their husband/wife/kids etc and they're driving themselves into the grave and you can see it, but you can't stop it, because it's not your place.
