This is where the old school curmudgeon in me creeps in. In Major League sports, the division winner with the least record shouldn't have to play in a wild card game. You won your division in the regular season. Just because now there are so many teams in more than enough divisions...finishing first shouldn't be a liability. I've tried 3 times in the last 3 months to delete my account. Each time an error has occurred. The powers that be don't allow anyone to leave but can't be bothered to convince them to stay. One more thing: Whomever is allowing the obtrusive onslaught of foreign spam to overwhelm this site, you're fired!. I thought this was addressed 4 or 5 years ago. To continue to let it fester is not only a slight to the few people left here posting, it is an embarrassment to anyone associated with the free expression and commitment to this place.
