Had a very busy past few days,so much going on. Finally day off went to see Heretic with my best friend ,interesting film overall but not really my style of horror. hit up a few stores at the mall before the movie (giant mall with the theatre attached),worked on some new music and wrote riffs tonight that i need to edit but overall the results will be worth it. and had the WEIRDIST encounter with my crazy neighbor, few weeks ago he slammed his door so loud it shook my unit when i was just sitting outside on my porch drinking water and reading (guess he hates readers ??),had to write him a letter that i wasnt going to possess his dog or hurt him in anyway (cuz I'm so scary..i guess ??),after coming back from my walk tonight ran into him again, I always have my headphones in usually (was listening to Behexen) and he just PULLS his dog in as i walk by, the dog whimpers in FEAR of me because i'm just an awful person (yes this is actually what he thinks) we also communicate by slamming doors extremely violently i really can't wait until he leaves, or gets kicked out, it will never stop with him.

1 last meeting for the day and I get to go home.
After I completed my huge meeting room project this really feels relaxing. I only get to maintain the systems and catch up with my manager regarding problems, if required.

Pffft. Need. A. Beer. Now.

Now that Trump will be back at the wheel, it's time to get back to good old fashioned family values, the likes you would find in a 1950's or early 60's sitcom. With JD Vance as his wingman and his Catholic goon squad legislating morality in the Supreme Court, it shouldn't take long to abolish all debauchery, sin, drugs, and just fun of any kind.

My soul really needed this long weekend for myself...
I was mentally burning out in the shadow of a high functioning facade for 2 months. I needed a break from life and from functioning perfectly. A small vacation without any obligations or an agenda. Just me alone and my art. And the luxury to decide on on a whim, what I feel like doing. No places to be at certain times, no schedule, no peole to meet... Just time passing by at my own pace....
I know its odd, but spending time alone is actually the most relaxing for me. Going on vacations/traveling is just stressing me out.

Do you sometimes just sit in your quiet apartment on a public holiday and just listen to the city noises outside and just appreciate the tranquility of having nothing to do?
You fucking should. Sometimes having nothing to do is a blessing. Boredom can be fixed, but before you turn on the TV or doomscroll on social media take, a minute to appreicate the luxury of being bored. Re-evaluate if you want to waste this precious time on fast-track-media or maybe use it for your soul instead?
