Last-minute concert plans. Messer Chups - they sound wild.

A surfer rock / rockabilly band from Russia, with a dark aesthetic. Opening for them is a similarly themed, instrumental horror surf rock band from Spain: Los Tiki Phantoms.

Tomorrow it is a national Holiday in Argentina. It is a day to remember the man who freed us from the spanish crown. A man who was born HERE but lived all his life in Spain. Spoke with EU spanish accent and fought for the spanish empire on many of their conquering battles. But when the time came...he returned here. To this land to fight against it. Against all he knew. Probably some of his friends and loved ones. Can you imagine how that is?. How mind and heart might battle when such choices are made?.

People here give a shit about it. This man is printed in our bills. His name gives name to many streets around the country. But for many it is just that....the name of a street.

I try to put myself in the shoes of a person who back then had to make one of the most difficult choices of his life and crossed an ocean to fight for what he believed in.

I´m only glad he is not alive to see what they did with the land he gave it all to defend.
