To find the true definition of chaos, go to a grocery in the South a few days before they're forecasting 6 inches of snow. At least they left enough beer and wine, so I'm good.

Yeah, my area is getting whalloped! Only 12-ish hours into a 48 hour long snowstorm. Forecasts show up to 24" (61cm) of snow coming.

View out the front door, including a very flattened forsythia bush - I hope that springs back when this shite melts!

No power; just boiled water on the gas stove for some subpar (but still appreciated!) instant coffee; running the heat with an inverter for now - will consider firing up the generator later, if/when needed.
