Vampfreaks is a hugbox: So I checked out vampfreaks.com what can I say its a fucking hugbox, there are like 3 people in total, and its so locked down its not fun. There is a couple things that make a site good, one is banter, a harmless bit of trolling, choas, a search tool to find people with same interests that are local, and DM's to slide into. Not for them reasons you pervs. Get your mind out of the gutter! From what I can tell its a lazy copy and paste template with some colours, a few logos slapped on and called a day. When people say they are looking a retro VF experience they are looking for a retro VF experence not half assed effort. I have seen projects where people have rebuilt long gone websites as they were in 90s, and early 2000s people are looking for that. This place is pretty shit also, but it allows for fundermentals mentioned, plus has that old school approtch of self moderation instead of having a site moderation team which kills communities today.
