Gen X
Just saw a coin for sale that has a Gen X symbol with the creedo of:
Raised on water hoses and neglect
I honestly can't deny it...That "Stranger Things" show was pretty much true.
Except for the part of someone coming out as gay... Whoever put that in the show is a moron, being gay was associated with AIDS back then and out of 750 kids in my class, none ever came out.
None.
We knew, but nothing was ever said.
Not my business.
We lived outside doing dangerous and stupid things.
I once got lost under the city of National City with 5 friends because we decided to walk the underground tunnel which was affectionately called the "Hell Hole" because it was scary and sometimes the homeless lived deep inside.
We would have competitions to climb small cliffs on the way to the arcade.
We'd ride around on our Huffys trying to look cool.
Jumping shit because BMX was the new thing.
Although the cool kids used skateboards.
We were kinda feral back then...I think that's why so many of us now are thought of according to society as mean.
We look at the newer generations and say:
"Fuck these wimpy soft asses...Get up!"
It's because we just don't understand how things have changed so much that kids nowadays break down quickly with anxiety or depression.
We're not even the tough ones...That Greatest Generation is full of straight psychopaths.
They'd eat your liver with onions and drink their coffee with no sugar and cream.
Those guys are wild!
Ask your grandparents some questions and you might be all WTF???
Grandpa killed how many war prisoners after they surrendered?
Grandma got rid of the puppies HOW??? 😮
Watch out for your Nana and Nono!
