When Social Media began in late 1990's people weren't such sociopaths, liars or even open psychopaths.

There was some lying, but NOTHING like today, where NOW you don't even know if you're talking to a female...A male pretending to be female or an A.I. Chatbot to get clicks.

Most I was lied to when I was younger and dating was lying about how many actual children they had or that they were still living with their BF/Husband/Baby Daddy.

Now EVERYTHING is a lie.

Worst thing is people lying about shit they don't even have to lie about!!!

TBH most young men will date a cute rich educated woman at the same rate they would date a Hot McDonald's Employee who's making Minimum Wage.

Men DON'T care if the girl had a great car, made a great salary or had degrees.

We only cared if they were pretty, fun, available, sweet and with a great rack!

With a great rack and a pretty face your TERRIBLE Credit score or yearly income meant nothing.

Now?   There's no CONNECTION.

Before I had made friends I never met and we would trade gifts and XMAS Cards, call and text people you met offline, zoom call and chit chat with a nice glass of wine.

Now you're worried they're Indian or Filipinos Scammers trying to use your face for A.I. Revenge Gay Porn.

Or trying to rip you off for your Beanie Baby and Bratz Doll Collection while having a stable of like minded Simps.

But yes for those who never experienced it, Once Upon A Time, the Goth/Punk/Alt/Mod Community was way more cohesive than what scraps are left today.
