I am not sure about the rest of the people on this site, but of all this goofy emo attention affimation seeking shit isn't Goth. Stay in your own culture. Goth is healing negativity; the darkness that heals. Its Soothing to the soul to where no other human is needed to soothe your soul. It's a painful nurturing motherly energy yet True solitude and true peace in the midst of emotional agony (Yes its a gift born from Clinical Major depression) Its true solitude, if loneliness hurts you, then you're not strong enough to be goth. That bout of food poisoning was short lived but damn if it didn't make me feel like I was on death's door. Funny how I feel better now than I did before I got sick. Maybe this was the factory reset my body needed. Maybe this is a sign to eat healthier (when I can actually afford it.) Or maybe it isn't a sign of anything at all and I'm still looking for spiritual guidance in trivial things from a god who seems apathetic at best.
