I've never really been a fan of the Christmas season. People preach goodness and mercy but the towns are more like a miserable masquerade party... Between the beautifully decorated stalls, the crowds jostle and mob each other. accompanied by the booming horns of drivers in the background arguing about the overcrowded parking lots. I'm actually more of an extrovert, but this overcrowding makes me feel unspeakably uncomfortable, which pushes me back into my empty apartment.

Apparently New Hampshire ranks #1 in Christmas spirit amongst The States. The latest data is from 2022, which clearly isn't reflecting the fact that for the first time in the 14 years I've lived in this house, I actually have a proper Christmas tree this year. My girlfriend wanted one, so I got one for her. We're actually planning on making decorations for it. Helped my mom decorating the Advents Wreath

So spent today cleaning and decorating.... almost ready for the holidays!!!

My oldest daughter and myself started Christmas decorating today.

There is a baby buried by my father in law that we have been bringing things for including a solar powered sunflower 🌻 light pointed at her stone so she has a night light. We had noticed no one was checking on her. Yesterday we were visiting family and her and her grave still had the light from us there as well as a bunch of new decorations! So glad to see someone else paying her some attention 💕
