Birthday breakfast for the birthday girl

7 years ago today the universe brought me you. The universe thought I needed a partner in crime, a companion and a best friend. Young me didn’t know at the time the adventures we’d have together and the bond we’d grow to have.

That chunky lil puppy that was by my side through thick and thin grew into a beautiful and protective lady with a huge passion for Greenies.
You’ve seen me cry and you’ve been there for me to hold when I do. You’ve seen me smile and you wag your tail when I do. You’ve seen me fall apart so many times but you’ve never judged me you’ve always nudged the pieces back over to me with your tiny lil nose and helped me back together. We put our foreheads together and I swear that’s when we think so hard the other understands words from each other.

I get so emotional around your birthday because you’re getting older. But I don’t worry bc I know you know I love you.

You’ve loved me everyday sense the day we met and you’ve loved me always never with terms or conditions. This is why every birthday you are spoiled. Pup cups, long car rides with the windows down, new bag of greenies or whatever treat you pick that day and a new toy then a birthday cake I make from scratch.

You are my light, my love, my heart and my soul. Everything I am and I do is bc of the love you give me and the care you take of me. We always think we’re the ones who will do the care taking but y’all do most of the work.

I have loved many things, but never have I loved them as much as I love you. You teach me new things everyday and it never ceases to amaze what I learn from you.

My little dragon, My lemon head, My little angry gnome. You are perfect to me and nothing could ever change you.

We still have so many more adventures to go on you and me. I cannot wait for them to come. I cannot wait to spend forever with you.
