I was watching last night's national news about a transwoman who now shot a school with kids in it. She just now set an example of what we are about in those who are anti-LGBT.
This is one of the last things we need in the LGBT community that gives ammunition to those who oppose our way of life to do more violent acts against us and those who make these flaws in the legal system to outlaw us out of existence.
Truth is yes we are saddened by the reoccurring
violence against the LGBT. This is no reason or excuse for any one of us to add to the unnecessary violence.
We are better than what this idiot on the news last night did.
With that in mind, we must continue to be better than the fools who take up arms against us for the most arrogant of reasons and excuses. Otherwise, we will lose all that we have accomplished.
For those of you no matter who you are and are even thinking of this kind of answer to the problem......STOP now and think about what you are about to do and are doing. While you are at it think some more about whether will this be worth it for you, and what others have done for you. Your life, what you have worked for, your friends, your family the reputation and respect you have now. That's not worth throwing away to get back at someone.
Oh, man have I been down that road numerous times? Yes.
But I pulled my shit together and walked away from that dumb stage no one needs to be on. I didn't need to be that actor in that play. You don't either. With that enough said. Peace to my brothers and sisters everywhere. Be better, stay better, and live good and well.
