Being underwhelmed is as mentally exhausting as being overwhelmed. I am currently bored out of my wits at work because I can't really work without samples. Guess it's because I am just mad I waste an entire day bored at work when I could have used that time being so much more productive with my own Art projects.... But it leaves me so drained that I am not looking forward to any social interaction that I have planned. Urgh and there will be a company BBQ on Friday too...
This week is exhausting.

Urgh even work is irritating...
Nothing progresses and our Assay development consultant. Is not really helping more interfering and half assing things. Also I would be much further with this if I wasn't limited to only getting samples to work with twice a week...
I just want something to distract me.

So today certain arse at work told me at 11:30 that we need an analysis of a screenning experiment of 96 samples, SDS-PAGE and Western blot done by today. I had 6 hrs to do 8 SDS-PAGE runs and 4 Western blots. and I made it without over time. Tbh I'm kinda impressed i did it. My pissed self is a workhouse apparently.
On the downside, I'm more than exhausted right now physically and mentally.
No capacity to indulge myself in hobbies. What a waste of that rare bit of free time I have.
