Random thought:

Just realized I made instant noodles for dinner today—kinda unintended. I usually try to cook something fresh(er) after work, especially on home office days.

The last time I ate instant noodles was almost a couple of years ago, to counter a hangover. Before that, I went through a six-month stretch without a proper kitchen, and they were basically my daily meal (which is probably why I can’t stand them much anymore).

Funny how, after a really intense overtime week, my brain just autopiloted straight to instant noodles—a meal that’s basically a cultural symbol of workaholism. :D

Anyone else here into Mystery Flesh Pit National Park?

It originally started as a post on r/worldbuilding, but grew (haha funny unintentional pun) into something more. Now it's a TTRPG!

Case in point. A movie I watched in the cinema at 11 years old. Funny as fuck and everyone was fair game. 40 years later. Father and 13 year old son. Kid has no clue and doesn't even smile, not once. Excuse is humor has evolved. Rationalizing being uppity isn't evolution. It's annoying as fuck!

Cos our mum's still smoke inside, and they all still got mob ties. But they pray to Jesus Christ, that's the funny part of life. Cos I'm scared of bugs that bite, scared of being alone at night. Yeah, I'm scared to death of heights, but I'm not afraid to die.

Been a crazy past few days here. Got hit with 7 inches of snow here in MN,so lot of shoveling. Lots of guitar practice and working on my battle jacket,it's supposed to be warm temps but instead we got the cold ones per usual. Hopeing to attend a concert overseas this year will have to see how that plays out first. Got yelled at by one of my lead cahiers for not putting some wet produce back into the plastic bag correctly ? (Didn't know that was a thing?) So it was awkward the rest of the shift bagging for her,funny thing is that she likes me and kinda asked me out,said no because I didn't want work drama and to potentially loose my job if it went South. People in MN sure are an odd bunch...

Time for my annual installment of "Who's Who in Jewville". First up, Marilyn Monroe. One of her marriages was to Jewish playwright and screenwriter Arthur Miller. She converted to Judaism to express her loyalty and said she identified with the Jewish people. Funny, she doesn't look it!
