I'm convinced parking garages are haunted or cursed liminal spaces. First, we parked on the second floor and I took the stairs down because the elevator was broke. The stairs took me to the street. When I left the hospital, I walked the entire perimeter, inside and out, and couldn't find the same stairs or elevator.

That being said, I started walking up the ramps, counting the floors on the way up. I counted 2 floors, couldn't find mom's car which was turned on because she was waiting in it. I called her, she honked he horn, it sounded like her car is miles away. I find the stairs again and begin the descent down so I could just meet her at the entrance of the garage. I went down two flights of stairs expecting to be on the ground level, only to see mom's car parked right outside the stairwell, turned on, back lights on.

I somehow ended up on the 4th floor and completely passed her on my way up. I know damn well I didn't walk that far and I know I didn't pass her car. I would have seen it since it was the only one of its kind in the area. This isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened in parking garages and I'm genuinely starting to hate them because why tf does this dimensional hopping keep happening to me??
