So it's 2:30am where I'm at, but decided to give my dog a quick walk in case she needed to use the restroom. It's a very safe city, but I still carry a dagger and a Escrima stick (Filipino Fighting Stick) this late at night...Better have it and not need it than need it and not have it. So almost home, when I hear footsteps behind me. Again it's about 2:30am on a darkish lonely downtown street...
