If you wanna feel really ugly, try taking some pictures for your CV. Nothing is more humbling. It really remindes me how ugly I am without my signature makeup.
And there is all the deatils and imperfections that I noticed. like why is my right eyelid more hooded and hanging than my left?? If i look right in the camera I look like I had a stroke!!!
Would you hire me like that?
But taking CV pics is also somehow funny: The reality of that person smilig at you professionaly from that picture, was to be kneeling on the floor in front of some white curtains, wearing a neat button down shit and dirty sweatpants with a care bear print.
