Living right next to a church has advantages and disadvantages.
On the one hand, you have a fantastic view of old European architecture from the kitchen, and I especially love looking at the stained glass windows reflecting in the sun in the morning.
But sleeping in on Sundays and public holidays (especially on the very Christian holidays) is a complete no-go. Especially when the damned bell is on the bedroom side and rings through the roof just in time for mass in the morning...Living right next to a church has advantages and disadvantages. Did a 5 minute stand up during open mic night at a local comedy club some years back. Not as easy as it looks. If you find yourself bombing, remember the Johnny Carson rule to get the crowd roaring again. A few good zingers about the McNugget or Judge Wapner should do the trick.
