  • Things have been...well...just insane. I've had a lot of appointments and am taking care of my mental health, going gluten free witch is incredibly difficult. My Bandcamp will be active again soon,I'm still playing guitar and bass working on new things as I type. Still making my photography as well. Got this concert coming up,fellow redhead ginger warrior friend of mine will hopefully be meeting me at the venue, going to be heavy !

  • Hey Dominicane Trump can't and will not run again in 2028...No Kings, we can all agree. Who's your horse? JD Vance, of course. The Dems will post up an extremist. Rumor has it AOC, Newsome, maybe that Whitmer chick from Michigan. What are we working with here? Here's an oldie but goody.

  • My work is such a weird place,I get along with pretty much everyone but there are some CRAZY opinionated people out there. I won't go into some of the stuff that I don't agree with there but I just keep my head down and keep on working. I have a co-worker who I think likes me but is way too young for me anyways, and is in a relationship...??? Uh,oook??? Either that or they are scared of me like a few customers are who just openly judge people,I get along with most people and customers so it's whatever lucky I have a place to walk to at least...Update: So today when I was on my break I took out a container from the break room microwave,as I needed to hear my food,I was sitting down listening to music, the co-worker totally like freaked out because her container was out of the microwave, yep. common sense is starting to get lost in my workplace no doubt.....

  • Quality is Quality:

Quality is quality! As you know I fix and maintain vintage clocks, its become a small business and hobby. Recently I baught a Waterybury 20s Office clock with a damaged face but was running and a non running clock of the same type with an intact face. Bored I pulled it apart, the seller had attempted to fix it before and used machine oil to lube the wheels (Gears and Cogs). Anyway, it was jammed soild.

The oil did not help nor did the spring being wound so tight it had become kinked. I had buy a replacement; big mistake! I housed the main sping, and fitted the workings back together and begain my tests. I wound the clock up, and ping!

The main spring snapped, and flew at me, slashing my arm open. I had to go to hospital and get a couple of stitches. In my time working with vintage clocks, short of doing something stupid a main spring shouldn't break, I've worked with forging from the 1800s, to mid to late 1900s. Then I read the package, made in india!

  • Working in customer services you often experience duality, do I shoot up the customer or do I shoot myself; sometimes you need to blast out them tunes!

  • How many Liberals will get fired resulting from talking shit about Charlie Kirk's murder?

    This is hilarious

Good jobs too, saw a bunch of $150k+ jobs not just Noodles working the nightshift at the Circle K next to that 24 hour Mexican Place where the two Eses got shot.

  • More music in the works, honoring to be creating a new song later this week when I have the time. Been working on some art stuff as well between trips to to the clinic. I finally got results back, and they are negative. Looking forward to starting sewing up again soon and working on my new jacket.

  • Nothing is worse for a highly intelligent and gifted person to be under-challenged and underwhelmed....

Today, I came home from work crying because I realised how underchallenged and boring my work currently is. My expertise is currently not being used because customer projects come in slow and don't get to the downstream processing/purification part (I'm a specialist for protein pruification). I don't get many other opportunities to show my skills and knowledge and only do some minor backup tasks like writing working instructions...Nothing about my work currenly feels rewaring and chellengeing. I am a scientist, I love the try and error and the challenge! I thrive in that. I literally work best with stress and being overloaded with work than with being underwhelmed...
On top of it I'm gettin really bad imposter syndrome because of not being able to show my expertise while my colleagues currenlty thrive and get ever opportunity to show their knowledge and expert fields. We got a new teamlead in march and so far I feel like I could not show off/prove my skille and knowledge to him while the others could. I feel like I'm standing in the shadows sometimes even being actively pushed back into them. Like a tool put in a shelf not neede for now collecting dust.
It's incredibly frustrating and deressing for me because I am a scientist by heart I love my profession...

Now my overthinking brain gets even to the point where I'm asking myself if they are boring me out on purpose, so I leave the company on my own accord and they don't have to fire me, because they can't without a reason....
I'm more and more thinking of actually looking for a different posititon... Maybe I'll apply for a pHD after all...
