Had a mini photo shoot to celebrate getting a new mohawk! Gives me gender euphoria, honestly. And I feel so much more myself. 🥰 😁🧷🖤

So out of my four children only youngest is showing any sign of following in our footsteps. Our 13 year old asked me to give him a mohawk so I did.

So back in the 80's my friends and I discovered this gem of a b grade movie called Suburbia 1983 (not to be confused with the 1986 movie of the same name). I think it was around 1988 that a stolen VHS version from a video hire place ended up in our hands and we watched and rewatched this train wreck until we could quote the dialogue. ( I still drop quotes from Suburbia from time to time.) You will notice a very young Flea (Janes Addiction/ Red Hot Chili Peppers) if you chose to watch this film which is on Youtube in it's entirety. As a result I grabbed my mum's hair clippers and gave my younger brother a mohawk.
