Finally completed the last project of the year.
Now it's time for relaxed support until the end of the year.
Hardly anyone will call because they are all on vacation and if someone does call, it's actually technically interesting cases and not "I'm too stupid for windows" cases :D

Work at home unmasked and have the days credited as new vacation days for the coming year.

Then i will definetely put the wig aside for the year and work on some other projects. I'm done with hand sewing for a while after this

Only 3 more days with projects, then I'll (hopefully) have some chilled "emergency only" support weeks until New Year's Eve 🫠

I think I'm starting to have a creative burnout due to regular burnout...

Somehow my latest "Just-for-fun" cosplay project that I just did for the sake of fun not for an upcoming convention or contest has become my "Frustration-Project". And that sucks!
The wig I'm styling for it is not making any progress and I have been working on and off on it for 2 Months...I never worked on such a complex wig re-styling with constructing a detachable Ponytail before, so I expected it to take longer... But whats frustratiing is that I dont't get to, or can't motivate myself to work on it for more than one hour per week on average. Which is really frustrating!
I really want to finis it to start on other things...I know if I just put it aside for other things I will never pick it up again to finish it.
I don't want it to end up on the unfinished project graveyard... =(

The last 3 h of work before vacation are the WORST... there is so much still to organise and Project handovers to prepare but the motivation is SO low.. especially if you have so many overtime hours left that you wouldn't be needing to work the entire day at all...

Oh dear, the next few days will probably require a lot of masking...
There are so many project presentations coming up that I have to lead, and tomorrow we have a big company event where it was mentioned that I'll be photographed more often, as a showpiece so to speak.
On the one hand, I see the whole thing as an opportunity to consolidate certain positions for myself, but on the other hand, I'm being pushed hard into the center of attention, which I don't really like.

Well, now it's time to make myself 'pretty' so that I don't look quite so shitty tomorrow.
Hopefully I can sleep despite the intense anxiety...

My new music project had a great recording session the other night. Can't wait to get this stuff mixed, and uploaded online. #ghoulbox #gothnroll

1 last meeting for the day and I get to go home.
After I completed my huge meeting room project this really feels relaxing. I only get to maintain the systems and catch up with my manager regarding problems, if required.

Pffft. Need. A. Beer. Now.

My 1 year lasting project of transforming the whole floor into meeting room area and setting the Logitech equipment that was shipped to us for that purpose is finally coming to an end. I can't feel more accomplished than I already am. Seeing this is my first time I actually tackled such a huge project it's even more rewarding to know that everything works thanks to me. I'm tired now.
Seeing how this place looks now compared to how it looked a year ago when I first joined the company is beautiful...
