  • I get locked out of Discord, I buy a burner sim, and use an old phone. I get my account unlocked. Inconvenient for me, and the cost of $0.35 for a sim card. I can use a VPN and travel out of the area so good luck tracking me. I have 6 sim cards, and many old phones. UK how is that protecting the kids?

  • How to Apply for a Bed
To qualify as a bed recipient, you must be the legal guardian of the child or children ages 3-17 years old receiving the bed or a referral from a school, Social Service, family or other local agency.

    Selecting a Recipient

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is always eager to help families in need whose kids have uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. Unfortunately, we can only help families who are close to our active chapters.

Once we receive an application, our selection committee will review it. Selecting a recipient isn’t done on a first-come, first-served basis—we make our decisions based on which children need beds the most.

We make and deliver twin size beds as supplies and donations allow. When we’re out of beds or bedding, we file unselected applications away until we can make more. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that every applicant will get a bed.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is always eager to help families in need, particularly ones whose kids have uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. Unfortunately, we can only help families who are close to our active chapters.

Therefore, you must fit the following criteria to receive one of our beds:

Location: You must live near one of our active chapters. To find your local chapter, view our locations here.
Living Environment: You must have an accessible house or apartment with a room large enough to fit one of our beds.
Contact: We must be able to contact you via phone, text or email.
Necessary Documents: You’ll need to fill out our online SHP Application Form. If your application is accepted, you’ll need to sign an Indemnification Release Form prior to delivery.
Ages: Kids need to be 3-17 years old.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NOT ALL CHAPTERS ARE TAKING APPLICATIONS AT THE CURRENT TIME, BUT WILL BE IN THE FUTURE.

You can check your zip code below, to see if a SHP chapter covers your area and if they’re taking applications:

  • I've never understood brand loyalty, people pointlessly debating the merit of one crappy phone over another. This is a Stark difference between brand quality; anyone from the 80s and 90s can tell you, people flocked to Sony because knew what they were getting was quality!

  • You have been invited to a team leader meeting at 3 PM! Cameras and microphones must be on!

Agenda: Waste 3 hours of your life on pointless red tape, and mangeral circle jerking!

  • So much for the planned weekend with a buddy... Probably more of an afternoon playing therapist on site with a meal together instead of over the phone...

    I'm neither sad or angry...
    I'm just so disappointed.

Guess I just grab a cold-one and call it a day

  • Haven't had a whole lot of free time this summer ,working, working on alot of music and working out everyday in the mornings ,family stuff, creating heavy heavy music and battle jackets. The concert i was supposed to attend ended up being a bust (see my previous post) the band who is from Maryland DROVE (didn't fly) the 13 hours to MN for the concert ,they got here around 10pm,we ll MN noise lays are 10pm so the concert got canceled and the band was literally RIGHT THERE ! to say the least im still getting over this as i take my music pretty seriously and this was going to be a show of a lifetime, instead of heading home straight away i stuck and and chatted with a few other people there and ended up staying downtown at the venue till like 1:00 in the morning just talking, made some new friends i would say, had some CRAZY dude jacked up on lots of something get in our faces while we were playing music on our phones, some dude was fighting invisible enemies while waiting for the light rail train, people screaming at each other ,the usual downtown MN for you there. overall though the night was not wasted and i'm looking forward to getting merch from the show as well as my next concert.. hopefully sooner than later.

  • Peak adulting is when you get a new vacuum and end up doing a hardcore deepclean after finishing a full tabata workout and still have energy left. It is kinda sad that the joys in life have come down to this....I felt too guilty splurging on a new phone to get such a rush, but the vacuum no guilts...
    How sad is that.
