It's this time of the year. Me, playing Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, The Final Nights mode. My avatar is a hot chick, Baali Clan. Devil worshipers. Cannot raise Humanity > 6 due to black hearts. Here are some screenshots:

  • I spent what felt like the whole day today in the park in my town, which also includes a small, partially abandoned cemetery.

This place makes me thoughtful because of its structure: on one side, children play innocently on a playground, while young couples stroll nearby, their hands intertwined. Yet, just beyond them lies a retirement home, where the building gazes longingly at the cemetery—a silent reflection of mortality.

In between, smaller, older, crumbling statues stand sentinel, guardians of forgotten stories, their weathered faces etched with the sorrows and joys of those who have come before. Complementing these fading relics, scaffolding is being erected for new architecture, a juxtaposition of the old and the new, of decay and renewal.

As I walk through this park, a question quickly arises: what does it truly mean to live? We are born, we grow, we learn, we love, and inevitably, we pass away. But do we fade into nothingness, or do we leave a trace behind in our borrowed time? Perhaps a whisper lingers in the hearts of those we touch, a thread woven into the very fabric of the universe, connecting moments that seem so fleeting.

Is it not a privilege to love and be loved, to create ripples in the fabric of time with our joy and our sorrow? In this park, where the clang of swing sets mingles with the soft rustle of leaves, I feel both connected and isolated—a thread in the grand tapestry of life and death, pulled taut yet ethereal.

Beneath the laughter and love lies an unspoken truth: we are all temporary. Yet, is it not the beauty of our transience that makes moments so precious, illuminated against the backdrop of eternity? The whispers of those who have come before dance in the air, and I wonder, perhaps they are not so far removed; they linger with us in our laughter, our tears, and in the very act of living.

I realize that while our bodies may return to dust, our spirits, woven into the lives and hearts of others, may transcend even death, echoing in the stories told under starlit nights and cradled within the whispers of time.

  • For those of you whose hearts ache or deal with people being unkind Im so sorry you deserve better. People can absolutely suck and it is not your fault, its theirs. Keep shining and remember you are beautiful as is (no matter how you identify).

  • I'm going to put this out there and you are gonna think I am weird as hell for it but that is okay. Mother's Day can be hard for a lot of people. It can be hard for those who can not have kids but want kids. It can be hard for people who have lost kids and carry them now just in their hearts and memories. It can also be hard for those who have lost Mother's or have strained relationships with toxic Mother's.

No matter your situation you are seen and recognized and if you have lost a child you are still a mom, if you can not have a child but love friends kids with a mother's heart you are still a mom and if you are in a toxic relationship with a mom that is their loss because you are worthy of love and I hope you treat yourselves this weekend and remember you have value and worth. Keep your heads up! <3

  • Serious question: from a man to a man.
There's this girl at a bar (also a waitress) that has timed her shifts with my visits at the bar, which is usually Thursdays and Fridays that is doing her absolute best to try and touch me every time she sees me on top of serving me my drinks (which for some reason she knows by heart now and it's weird). Is that considered flirting or do I percieve it wrong? Gosh, it's really word and she makes it obvious as fuck across the bar every time she sees me. One time I commented on her outfit and gave suggestions and the next thing she does is changes her outfit because of me. Tell me you're into me without telling me you're into me. It's weird. I feel like I'm being lead on but I actually wanna ask you guys: Obsolescence LiveFreeOrDie InfernalHate: is this actually happening or is my drunk ass undrestanding this differently?
Ugh. Waitresses are usually hard to get along with. What makes it even "worse" is that she makes hearts out of random objects by cutting them in a way they look like hearts.. Help?

  • I am watching a show called Runaway Hearts on youtube and it is ABSOULTELY heart breaking. The sad part is there are people out there who are awful parents and they have these gorgeous, sweet children that they CHOOSE to neglect and abuse them. I see articles about children who are hurt or worse and deserve so much more. No child should ever feel alone or sad, hurt or abused, hungry or scared. I just can not fathom being blessed with a child and treating a child in such a way... If you see a child being abused PLEASE contact the proper authorities and take action..
