  • Haven't had a whole lot of free time this summer ,working, working on alot of music and working out everyday in the mornings ,family stuff, creating heavy heavy music and battle jackets. The concert i was supposed to attend ended up being a bust (see my previous post) the band who is from Maryland DROVE (didn't fly) the 13 hours to MN for the concert ,they got here around 10pm,we ll MN noise lays are 10pm so the concert got canceled and the band was literally RIGHT THERE ! to say the least im still getting over this as i take my music pretty seriously and this was going to be a show of a lifetime, instead of heading home straight away i stuck and and chatted with a few other people there and ended up staying downtown at the venue till like 1:00 in the morning just talking, made some new friends i would say, had some CRAZY dude jacked up on lots of something get in our faces while we were playing music on our phones, some dude was fighting invisible enemies while waiting for the light rail train, people screaming at each other ,the usual downtown MN for you there. overall though the night was not wasted and i'm looking forward to getting merch from the show as well as my next concert.. hopefully sooner than later.

  • I think the craziest thing about this whole thing in Syria, is that Syria is now in the hands of Al Qaeda. The current Syrian President, Ahmed al-Sharaa, is currently a member of Al Qaeda, tho now he denies this and up until 2021, was constantly issuing threats to the United States. Al-Sharaa was detained and arrested by American troops during the IRAQ war/insurgency for killing American troops, as a member of Al Qaeda.

"Al-Sharaa traveled from Damascus to Baghdad by bus just weeks before the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, where he quickly rose through the ranks of al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI). The Times of Israel newspaper claimed in 2013 that al-Sharaa was a close associate of AQI leader, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, which has been proven accurate by captured Al Qaeda fighters."

"Upon his release from prison coinciding with the Syrian Revolution, Ahmed al-Sharaa was tasked in August 2011 by Ayman al-Zawahiri (Al Qaeda Leader) and al-Qaeda's central command to establish al-Qaeda's mission in Syria."

"Al Sharaa worked with ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi to expand al-Qaeda's Syrian branch, Jabhat al-Nusra. The group maintained this alliance with ISI the until 2013, when he and Jabhat al-Nusra swore loyalty directly to Al Qaeda only."

"The U.S. State Department listed al-Sharaa as a "Specially Designated Global Terrorist" in May 2013, which has lasted throughout the Syrin Civil War and it is unclear if he is still listed as an Al Qaeda global Terrorist."

Threats issued by the Al Qaeda Nusra leader, Al Sharaa during the US Bombing attacks from 2016-2024 includes:

"This is what will take the battle to the heart of your land, for the Muslims will not stand as spectators watching their sons bombed and killed in their lands, while you stay safe in your lands." In his audio message, released five days after the U.S. strikes, al-Sharaa said: "Do not let the West and America take advantage of the injustice of the Islamic State upon you … Those who are unable to repulse the Islamic State or others, then let them do so without being a partner with the crusader alliance." -Al-Sharaa, Syrian President, Al Qaeda Nusra Leader.

"al-Sharaa Also threatened that Al Qaeda and Al Nusra would fight the "United States and its allies" and urged his fighters not to accept help from the West in their battle against the Islamic State and Syrian Government (Assad Government). -AL sHARAA, Syrian President, Al Qaeda leader.

And not to mention, Al Sharaa isn't even Syrian, he's from Saudi Arabia, its strange that an Al Qaeda outsider from Saudi Arabia is President of Syria.

  • Been a crazy past few days here. Got hit with 7 inches of snow here in MN,so lot of shoveling. Lots of guitar practice and working on my battle jacket,it's supposed to be warm temps but instead we got the cold ones per usual. Hopeing to attend a concert overseas this year will have to see how that plays out first. Got yelled at by one of my lead cahiers for not putting some wet produce back into the plastic bag correctly ? (Didn't know that was a thing?) So it was awkward the rest of the shift bagging for her, funny thing is that she likes me and kinda asked me out, said no because I didn't want work drama and to potentially loose my job if it went South. People in MN sure are an odd bunch...

  • Lots of crazy stuff this week,Been spending the night at my folks place because SADLY I can't even get sleep thanks to my neighbor. Calling the Cops tommarrow and hopefully throwing the guy out for good, been putting up with this crap far too long ! On the upside got to head over to the art Institute with my mom and niece, had not been back in a bit so it was a wonderful experience as always, turned a few heads with my battle jacket and leather spiked boots per usual, saw a few like minded people there too so it's good to see a variety of folks attending. Finished the evening with a great dinner, few drinks and one of the Lord Of The Rings films.
