I felt so helpless. I took my daughter outside so the paramedics didn't have to fight my dog and I screamed for help. I screamed so loud I know half the neighborhood heard me. My next door neighborhood watched out her window and did nothing. We had previously helped her husband when he fell on ice twice. People drove by slowly with their windows rolled down and gawked at the spectacle of the woman begging for help while her child seized in her arms. I didn't expect anyone to do anything to make it stop, I just didn't want to be alone.
