Zelensky wanted to hit the plant and blame Russia, Russia put air defenses around the plant so he couldn't, very dangerious for europe as it could have effected all of europe, and Zelensky wanted to do this to get nato involved in the war, even at the potential cost of a nuclear meltdown and destroying Europe.
