Hey all, guess who's back and not dead yet?
Last time I was here was a couple of years ago. The people who were around then, may not be anymore.
Just an update on my life since then:
I had surgery on my spine in an effort to help me walk again. While I still have trouble walking and am relegated to using a wheelchair, I can walk some with assistance of a walker and sometimes even with a cane. I was tested for MS and luckily it came back negative, however my doctors said I had all the symptoms of a degenerative disease, but that none have come up in my tests.
My legs have suffered severe nerve damage though, so there's that. I am grateful to be where I am at though. 2 years ago I was bedridden, now I can actually go out, albeit with assistance. I can no longer drive myself places and I am at the mercy of other peoples schedules.
That's about it though, I guess. If you remember me, or are a new friend in the making, say hello!
