Update: I'm finally out of the hospital and at home resting after my surgery Thursday morning. The surgery itself was a success, but only time will tell if there was a benefit and I can walk again.

They went through my throat, moved the muscles and did surgery on my spine at the neck. I have a huge ugly, but cool, scar now. I just hope it heals light.

I have to wear a neck brace, which is kind of a bitch on hot days, but fuck it, I said I'd do what it takes to walk again.

I am in fairly severe pain, but I'm handling it. You guys want to see my incision? lol
