I don't understand why people think showing off their money and possessions is a good idea. You'll attract people who aren't genuine. When I was younger, with little money and fewer aspects, the pain and loneliness that came with the struggles were brutal. But they taught me a valuable lesson that I understood afterwards - when someone still likes you and is by your side when you're down in the dumps, that person is worth keeping.
When I started earning and started looking better, the contrast in people's treatment to me was like night and day. Suddenly I wasn't a piece of shit anymore. That pissed me off.
