On the morning of 3 April 1882, thousands gathered to view the body of Jesse James, less than twenty-four hours after he was shot dead in St. Joseph, Missouri. His open coffin was packed with large blocks of ice to preserve his body as mourners, reporters and photographers filed silently past. Those melting blocks of ice made it possible for one of the most famous photographs of the Old West to be taken. More than 140 years later, the photograph still marks the moment Jesse James passed from notorious outlaw into an Anglo-American legend.

I bought a whole new goth wardrobe the other day at Walmart, Ross and Earthbound. Found some very cute whimsygoth cottage core type of aesthetic. I’ll post photos at some point. Donating all my old colorful clothes, but I kept a few things that were pink and green since that’s my favorite colors.

Things have been...well...just insane. I've had a lot of appointments and am taking care of my mental health,going gluten free witch is incredibly difficult.
