I have an upcoming Chevy 454 engine build and I would be really interested to hear from other engine builders about the modifications that will work out best for performance gains.The 454 big block has a lot of power and possibilities, but the selection of components will definitely affect the overall performance of the engine.
I am especially interested in intake manifolds, cylinder heads, camshaft, exhaust and ignition modifications. What have you done to your Chevy 454 that helped gain the best results without losing daily drive ability.

A bit of a gore story. Yesterday after a brutal day at work,finally getting into my place exhausted. Cutting up some brussel sprouts and I sliced the tip of my right index finger,the cut did not stop bleeding.
