So, earlier in a group that's pretty much for shitposting I saw a black influencer wannabe post that he refuses to call white people "white people" anymore and will refer to as us as "snow roaches" from now on. He got a comment thread filled with "cool, we'll keep calling you (insert racial slur)." Before he got upset that the comments weren't going the way he wanted and whined to the admins about it, somebody called us "flour rangers" and I'm still snickering over that one, though I prefer "bleach demon" or "vanilla gorilla" . Or just call us colonizers...nizzas for short. Really though, you'd think folks would realize that words don't hold power over us, at least not the way they want, and nothing like the power a certain 6 letter word that starts with "N" and rhymes with "trigger" holds over them.

This is so discourageing! Of all the job offers that I can find none are Jobs that I would actually wanna take if I actually did get the offer, because all require commuting over an hour or moving to I city that I would never wanna live in. This is just downright depressing! In the past 3 weeks I have not even seen one offer that was in my current location or even close by. I just want a new job not an entire life re-orientation!

It is just so sad that we live in such a career-driven double standard society where it is totally normalized that as a young person, you HAVE to be ready give up your ENTIRE LIFE and the place you picked to be your home ANYTIME to find a new job. But on the same time you are expected to be ready to settle and have a family from 30 onwards. And with a family you are often still required to move your entire family to a new place for a new job and it's totally normalized!

And overall economy is just shit and the field I work in is not doing well despite the fact that it was flourishing during the pandemic.

I blame everything on Merz at this point because I need a scapegoat to vent my anger!

hey everyone. I’m not really big on politics I’d consider myself center cause both sides have there crazy and their sane people. but I don’t feel it’s appropriate to actually attack others unless they specifically attack you or others first I believe in love peace and compassion to all. it hurts when I receive hate messages on Facebook telling me to off myself cause I’m not political or religious. but the reason I’m not is cause I’m most cases it divides us all as humans. puts everyone at each others throats and causes anger and hatred it is heartbreaking. But yeah I’ll end my post there spread love not hate.

Dangerous situation this coming weekend. We could be measuring snow accumulations in feet. That's the best case scenario. If it's more of an ice storm, it could be catastrophic. Massive infrastructure and power grid damage could occur, so here's hoping we just get buried with snow.

It needs to be said So people don't believe a false story, That Ice agent put HIMSELF in front of the car and she was even turning right to try and avoid him, LOOK CLOSELY. Absolutely No self defense can be claimed when your life wasn't in danger and you walked in front of a vehicle to shoot someone.
